The nomination of Dr. Tien-Rein Lee as the CAA Secretary-General is approved by CAA Board of Directors on March 28, 2023. Dr. Lee will assume his duty to assist Chairman Dr. Joe Y. C. Wu to manage CAA business on June 1, 2023.


李天任博士 Dr. Tien-Rein Lee

Dr. Tien-Rein Lee is a scholar with extensive academic background and administrative experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Culture and Communication from New York University (NYU), a Master of Laws from the Graduate Institute of Political Science at the Chinese Culture University, and a Master's degree in Visual Communication from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Lee has served as the president of Chinese Culture University and Huafan University respectively and as the chairman of the board at the Foundation for Retired and Severance Pension Fund Management of Private School Faculty and Staff in the Republic of China. He has also held positions such as the chairman of the Association of Private Universities and Colleges in the Republic of China and the founding chairman of the Taiwan Information and Communication Association. In addition, Dr. Lee has been deeply involved in international organizations in his professional field and sports, receiving numerous awards and honors. Currently, he serves as a Distinguished Chair Professor at Chinese Culture University, a Distinguished Professor at Huafan University and as Chairman of the Chinese Color Association.
 
Dr. Lee possesses all the necessary qualifications and profound experience. Dr. Lee will assist Chairman Wu to lead CAA’s development and further its progress by his positive and innovative thinking, as currently CAA is undergoing internal reform and reinforcing promotion of arbitration.

CAA current Secretary-General Dr. Jeffrey Chen will step down on June 1, 2023 due to his personal career planning.
