PostDate:2020/6/20
Cancellation Notice for the 2020 Taipei International Conference on Arbitration and Mediation
The Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA) and the Asian Center for WTO & International Health Law and Policy, College of Law, National Taiwan University (ACWH) hope that everyone is safe amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the situation of the pandemic, CAA and ACWH have regretfully decided to cancel this year’s conference, which was supposed to take place in Taipei, October 15-16. We have come to this difficult decision having regard to travel restrictions and public health concerns. We expect to see many of you who are interested in our annual conference in Taipei next year.
Update for the 2020 Call-for-Papers Event
As you might have known, we also conduct annual call-for-papers event. The event attracted many professors, practitioners and graduate students to participate each year. The call-for-papers is normally held in conjunction with our annual international arbitration and mediation conference. The authors of selected papers were invited to present their works at the international conference. Although the 2020 annual conference has been canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to continue the already announced 2020 call-for-papers event.
The topics for the event remain to be the following:
Abstract submission deadline, the review process and the award remain the same for the time being. We will invite winning/selected authors to participate in our 2021 annual conference. In the meantime, if you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
